VeridianSEO is a service of SilverServers Inc. of Kamloops, British Columbia (“we”). This policy covers this website, veridianseo.com, and the forms on it: the free report request and the contact form.
What we collect
When you send a form on this site, we keep what you type into it: your name, business name, website, phone number, email address, the reports you ticked and your message. We also keep the date and time, and the page you came from.
To stop abuse of the forms, we keep a one-way scrambled version of your internet address with your request, and a record of each time a form is sent from it (when, which form, and whether it was accepted) for one week, for troubleshooting and security. The scrambled version can’t be turned back into the address.
The website itself doesn’t use advertising or tracking cookies, and we don’t use third-party analytics on these pages.
Why we collect it
Only to reply to you: to answer your message, to run the reports you asked for, and to call or email you about them. We don’t add you to mailing lists, and we don’t sell, rent or share your details with anyone outside SilverServers.
Testing your website
To make a report we visit the website you gave us from outside, the way a search engine or visitor would, and keep the results to put the report together. We don’t log in unless you ask us to check a password-protected site and give us a login for it (used for that check, then deleted), we never try to guess passwords, and we never change anything on your site.
How long we keep it
We keep your request and its reports while we’re working with you, and for a reasonable time afterwards in case you have questions. Ask us and we’ll delete them.
Your rights
Under Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA) and British Columbia’s Personal Information Protection Act, you can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email support@silverservers.com or call 1-236-425-4400.
Report links
Reports we send you open on private links. Anyone with a link can see that one report, so share it only with people you trust. Links can expire, and we can turn one off at any time — just ask.
Changes
If we change this policy, we’ll update it here and change the date at the top.
