Terms

Terms of use.

The ground rules for our website, our free reports and the links we send you, in plain English.

Last updated October 7, 2026

VeridianSEO is a service of SilverServers Inc. of Kamloops, British Columbia (“we”, “us”). These terms apply when you use veridianseo.com, send us a form, request or receive a report, or open a report link. By doing any of these, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site or the service.

Requests and our right to decline

Sending a form is a request, not an order. We may decline, limit, pause or stop any request, report or service, at any time and for any reason or no reason, and we don’t have to explain why. That includes free reports, follow-up reports and calls. We may also refuse requests from anyone we believe is abusing the service, sending false details, or asking about websites they have no right to have tested.

Any free report is offered at our discretion. It doesn’t create a commitment to provide further reports, work or support, free or paid.

Websites you ask us to check

Only ask us to check websites you own, manage, or have permission to have tested. By sending a request, you confirm you do. You’re responsible for having that permission.

Our checks look at a site from outside, the way search engines and visitors do. Our security scan doesn’t break into anything or change anything, but it does make ordinary requests to the site, including checking for files that shouldn’t be public. A site owner or host may notice them. If you give us a login for a password-protected site, you confirm you’re allowed to share it; we use it only for that check and then delete it.

What our reports are

Our reports are information to help you make decisions. They’re based on what we measured at the time, using our own tests and third-party data such as search engine results, Google Lighthouse and the W3C validators. Search results, speed and websites change constantly, so a report reflects a moment in time.

We don’t guarantee any particular ranking, traffic, sales or result, and no report is legal, accessibility-compliance or security certification. A security scan finds what’s visible from outside; it isn’t a full security audit or a penetration test, and a clean report doesn’t mean a site can’t be attacked. Acting on a report, yourself or through someone else, is your decision.

Reports are shared on private links. Anyone with the link can see that one report, so share it only with people you trust. Links may be set to expire, and we may turn any link off at any time. Please don’t try to reach reports you haven’t been given a link to.

You may keep, print and share the reports we send you for your own business purposes. The report design, our tools and this website remain ours.

Using the site fairly

Please don’t misuse the site or the service: no automated or bulk form sending, no attempts to get around our limits, no false or misleading details, and nothing that would harm the site, our systems or other people. We may block anyone who does.

Our responsibility

We provide the website, the reports and the links “as is” and “as available”, and we don’t promise they’ll always be available, complete or error-free. To the extent the law allows, SilverServers Inc. isn’t liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, data or business, arising from the site, a report, or decisions made using one. Where we are liable, for a free report or service our total liability is limited to $100 CAD.

Nothing in these terms limits any right you have that the law doesn’t allow us to limit.

If you engage SilverServers for paid work, such as further reports or fixing what a report finds, that work is covered by a separate quote or agreement, which takes priority over these terms where they differ.

Privacy

How we handle what you send us is set out in our privacy policy.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Any dispute will be handled in the courts of British Columbia.

Changes

We may update these terms. The current version is always on this page, with the date at the top. Using the site or service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
